Starting from today and working backwards:
I have been a Mathematics Teacher for College and Secondary students for over 15 years. Additionally, I also work with Harding University in Searcy teaching Mathematics during Summer Academies serving underprivileged students in surrounding cities/counties.
Prior to my career in Education, I came from a Fortune 500 company headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia as the Loss Prevention Manager of the Company Owned Store Group which consisted of 883 operations and employing over 6000 employees with annual sales in excess of $6 Billion per annum.
Prior to Corporate Management, I served in the Armed Forces as a Commissioned Officer and had the privilege of traveling to parts of the World experiencing native culture/customs. The Army provided me with the opportunity to receive educational benefits, attain Veteran status, and learn the art of Leadership…for that, I am forever thankful to you taxpayers for giving me the life I have enjoyed.
Educationally speaking, it has been a very long road (over 31 years on and off) to obtain:
Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology – Southern Illinois University (Carbondale)
Master of Science in Operations Management – University of Arkansas (Fayetteville)
Master of Arts in Teaching – University of Central Arkansas (Conway)
Specialist in Education – Arkansas State University (Jonesboro) – pending
